FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FUNDING THROUGH NDIS

MEDICARE / MENTAL HEALTH CARE PLANS

WHERE DO SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?

I can provide therapy in many ways and will do my best to meet individual needs.

I am able to provide telehealth and video calls.

Face to face I am able to work within schools, hospitals, clients homes, and even public spaces like cafes, parks etc.

I provide services through NDIS, if you are plan or self managed. At this stage I cannot see clients who are agency managed as I am working on NDIS registration. This is currently costly for private practitioners.

I charge prices inline with NDIS price guide:

  • Support Coordination: $100.14 per hour

  • Specialist Support Coordination: $190.54 per hour

  • Therapy or Training - Social Worker: $193.99 per hour

My services come out of the Support Coordination (Capacity Building) Budget, Improved Daily Living for therapy, and potentially core depending on the situation which I can discuss with yourself and plan manager.

Functional Capacity Assessments are usually 20 hours from IDL funding, which includes visits, assessments, interviews and report writing.

As an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, I am register with the AASW and recognised by Medicare as an allied health practitioner.

I am able to see people who have a current Medicare MHCP (Mental Health Care Plan) from their GP.  You can find out more information about MHCP here:

I currently am able to bulk-bill Medicare directly and ask for no gap fees or out of pocket costs.
